Jessica Riches

Jessica Riches is an award-winning social media, content and engagement specialist. She is also a writer, currently working on a book about the mobile Internet, due out in 2018.

Jessica started her career in politics, first working on grassroots campaigns and then working on the Hacked Off campaign where she led on digital strategy - overseeing and implementing the strategy that led to 100,000 petition signatures in under 72 hours.

After this she moved into a digital agency, before starting to work as a freelancer. She's worked with a variety of clients including Toshiba, Universal Pictures, the Nike Foundation, Marks & Spencer, the Tower of London, the Green Party and Pottermore. She works creating strategies, delivering training and managing communities.

In the last year she has launched LMW Labs, a consultancy specialising in high growth and low cost social tactics for startups; LMW.LDN, an influencer network for London-based Instagram talent; and Stop Scrolling, an online programme that teaches digital balance with over 3,000 subscribers.

In 2013 Jess was named as one of PR Week's 30 Under 30, and in 2016 she was named as one of the BIMA 100 in the Rising Star category. She regularly speaks in the media about social media and youth culture, including features on Channel 4 News, BBC, ITV, The Guardian, Reuters, LRB and TIME Online.
