Oliver Chong

Oliver was appointed Executive Director Communications & Marketing Capability in January 2016. He oversees the communications needs for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and manages STB’s marketing capability development.

Oliver began his STB career in 1993, holding varied portfolios in marketing, industry development and conventions and meetings. He was also posted twice to London, with the second time as Regional Director Europe from 2007 to 2010 to lead operations and in-market activities of the Frankfurt, London and Moscow offices. Major career highlights were being part of the team that negotiated successfully for Singapore to host the Formula One™ Grand Prix and leading the formulation of STB's Marketing Strategy 2020.

Oliver holds a BSc Hotel Administration (Distinction) from Cornell University, USA (1993).
