Eleni Skarveli

Eleni began her career in the tourism industry just before the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, gaining valuable experience at the Greek National Tourism Organisation’s Advertising Directorate. She later oversaw the Brussels office, which evolved into BENELUX in Amsterdam, serving there for nine years. In September 2021, she took on the role of managing the London Office, focusing on the British and Irish markets. Drawing on her background in the European Parliament and her strategic marketing expertise, Eleni launched the SustainableGreece.co.uk platform. This initiative aims to inspire travellers and the Greek stakeholders to promote sustainable practices while raising awareness about responsible travel. In 2022, she founded the "Sustainable Travel AGORA" to unite industry experts and drive collaborative efforts, emphasising that sustainability requires a collective approach.
