The State of Destination Marketing 2024 report sheds light on the latest industry challenges, trends and emerging technologies. Based on insights from nearly 300 DMOs, government departments and affiliated tourism entities worldwide, it explores effective marketing strategies for engaging travellers and offers a glimpse into the future of destination marketing.
The DTTT partnered with Abu Dhabi's Culture and Tourism Department to produce an industry whitepaper and podcast series about the resiliency of the MICE sector in Abu Dhabi. This project highlights how Abu Dhabi is reinforcing its competitive positioning for hosting business events through innovation and collaboration, enabling the MICE sector to thrive as it continues to recover from COVID-19.
The DTTT team collaborated with Tourism Northern Ireland to deliver a masterclass on digital innovation for tourism businesses, which included an overview of key trends and a design thinking workshop, practical examples of businesses' digital innovation journeys and a summary of essential tips for tourism businesses.
The 10-episode Driving Place-Based Innovation podcast series, in collaboration with the NewcastleGateshead Initiative, showed how North East England's visitor economy is being transformed through innovation.
The DTTT team are IBM-certified Design Thinking practitioners. We use interactive workshops that engage participants and facilitate collaboration. This article summarises our workshop series with Dolomiti Paganella between January to March 2023.
