John Fraher

John Fraher is Senior Executive Editor for Energy, Climate and Equality at Bloomberg News. John oversees more than 140 reporters and editors around the world covering the business, politics and policy of the energy transition. He founded Bloomberg Green, a digital vertical within Bloomberg News that looks specifically at climate change. In addition, John is currently spearheading Bloomberg’s expansion into video and other digital media in EMEA and also oversees all of Bloomberg’s coverage of equality issues around the world. John previously ran Bloomberg’s coverage of global politics and has also reported on global economics and markets. John read German and Modern History at University College, Oxford and has a Masters in European politics from the London School of Economics.
