The Vienna Tourist Board is strongly committed to women's issues and makes a clear statement for greater visibility and equality with initiatives such as Vienna Women’s Week. This campaign highlights female pioneers, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures in Vienna's tourism landscape by honoring their stories and contributions to the city. Part of the campaign is a curated guide featuring 14 inspiring women and special locations associated with their life’s work and achievements. In addition to the publication of the guide, Vienna Women’s Week also includes extensive B2B and B2C measures, social media storytelling, and industry events that celebrate women in leadership positions within tourism. This initiative aims to increase the visibility of women in the industry, recognize their achievements, and raise awareness of the importance of gender equality in the tourism sector. Pauline Boelzlbauer is proud to be part of the team at the Vienna Tourist Board that is committed to equality and a more inclusive future for the tourism industry. Vienna Women’s Week is an excellent example of how the Vienna Tourist Board supports women and drives sustainable change within the industry.
