We help global government organisations to understand the needs of the industry.
Our role in the field of public policy and development is to create a bridge between policymakers and practitioners, where our deep knowledge and expertise in the sector sets us apart when it comes to identifying policy needs and priorities. We work closely with the governments, international tourism organisations, destination leaders, and tourism businesses to offer guidance, industry insights and advisory for policy development.
DTTT worked with the World Bank’s Trade Investment and Competitiveness (TIC) Global Tourism Team to conduct a mapping of digital technology along the tourism value chain to identify how governments, destinations and businesses can leverage technology for quicker recovery, more inclusive destinations, and increased productivity.
DTTT led a global human centred capacity building initiative with United Nations Institute for Training and Research based in South Korea focused on digitalisation barriers and policy intervention. We delivered an invaluable professional training programme with a cohort of 80 participants from every corner of the world with UNITAR.
DTTT worked with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to develop a strategic framework for East Jerusalem's digital tourism sector. The process involved an in depth audit of East Jerusalem tourism digital infrastructure and developing strategic solutions in terms of Data and Digital Asset Management. The DTTT team shared a Digital Policy Framework to enhance the destination performance and competitiveness.
