Julie Van Oyen is a designer, researcher, and educator working at the intersection of cultural heritage collections and digital service design. As the Product Designer at Europeana Foundation, she coordinates user experience research and designs interfaces through which visitors can experience digital cultural heritage artefacts, collections, and stories. She holds a BDes and MDes in Interaction Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. Her professional experience includes digital service design, UX/UI research and design, visual design, copywriting, marketing, and creative project management.
