This free-of-charge live event will answer any questions you may have related to the Sustainability Leadership Programme and the Design Thinking Fundamentals training programme, as part of the DTTT Academy. Running throughout 2023, this is an opportunity to take part in both live participatory learning and on-demand content and cases, whilst gaining the skills and methods to apply Design Thinking to your everyday work and to your sustainability journey, where empathy is key to succeeding.

Join us live, where course leaders Nick Hall and Ana Balaguer Sánchez will take you through the programmes, what to expect and answer any questions you may have.

The Sustainability Leadership Programme is a five-module programme that will allow you to:

  • Explore five key pillars underpinning your sustainability journey
  • Consider important aspects such as data and communication
  • Gain perspective through dozens of cases and best practices
  • Evaluate different methodologies and techniques
  • Gain experience to apply Design Thinking to Sustainability
  • Learn how to become a facilitator within your organisation or industry
  • You will also have more than 20 design resources to use over time

The programme includes the following modules:

  • Understanding sustainability
  • Choosing a sustainable journey path
  • Leveraging data & measuring impact
  • Sustainability & effective communication
  • Co-designing strategies for a sustainable future

Design Thinking Fundamentals is a two-day programme held at the DTTT HQ in Canterbury, England, where you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Garden of England, home to the historic Cathedral City, a beautiful 'Viking' coastline and rolling landscapes of award-winning sparkling wines.

Working to solve a challenge, teams will learn the key stages of Design Thinking, including:

  1. Defining
  2. Understanding
  3. Empathising
  4. Ideating
  5. Prototyping
