The first module will be dedicated to understanding the different aspects of sustainability, what are the most commonly accepted guidelines and who is standing out as a leader overall.
The second module is dedicated to understanding the different sustainability certifications and badges available for destinations. We will look at which criteria should DMOs prioritise when defining their path in sustainability.
In this module, we will analyse available data in order to set the targets for future actions. Using co-creative techniques we will look at public, private and user data to understand what data is accessible and what data we need.
Once priority has been established, we can explore how to communicate and convey the right message to the general public, local community, visitors, industry and government and policymakers.
The last module will look at the future of the destination strategies, reiterating the importance of considering sustainability as part of the overall strategy rather than the final goal to achieve.
The first stage will be dedicated to understanding why empathy is key to adopting a user or visitor-centred approach to the challenges we face in any situation.
The second stage will focus on exploring different techniques which will help you to develop a clearer understanding of the people involved in your challenge.
In this stage, we will work to ideate hundreds, if not thousands of ideas with different methods. This is one of the keys to successfully implementing Design Thinking, as it will help us narrow down the ideas that could work.
Once a solution is identified, assumptions pose a risk, as these are almost always based on bias. Learn how to take low-fidelity prototypes into the field, considering a wide range of perspectives.
The last stage will look at testing and getting feedback from users. You'll learn how to prototype, test and iterate as part of your systematic workflow.
In this first module, we will look at defining AI and explaining its key concepts, such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. We'll also explore the different types of AI and how they are used in the real world.
The second module is aimed at looking into Large Language Models (LLMs), a type of AI trained on massive datasets of text and code. We will look at understanding the capabilities of LLMs and how they can be used to achieve organisational goals such as improving decision-making and generating new ideas and insights.
In this module, we will focus on how to identify, develop and implement AI solutions that deliver real value to businesses and organisations. We will cover specific case studies and examples of how successful businesses have implemented AI solutions to achieve their goals.
Once we have understood everything that goes into using AI, we will focus on the importance of responsible AI and how to ensure that AI systems are developed and used in a way that is aligned with human values and ethics. By understanding the importance, you can help to ensure that AI is used for good and that it does not harm individuals or society.
The last module will look at how leaders can use AI to create more engaging and personalised digital brand experiences for their customers. This is essential for businesses that want to stay ahead of the competition and attract and retain customers in the digital age.
