Monitoring Sentiment for Domestic and Intra-European Travel - Wave 14

  • 77% of European travellers plan to take a trip in the first half of 2023
  • Europeans’ travel spend is holding strong, with over half planning to spend more than €1,000 per person per trip

The project “Monitoring Sentiment for Domestic and Intra-European Travel” gauges the sentiment, drivers and behaviours for domestic and intra-European travel in ten high-volume European source markets – Germany, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Poland and Austria. Key findings and recommendations for destinations and tourism authorities are made available in monthly reports since September 2020.
