A New Agenda

Since 2021, we at Destination NORD have worked to unite the entire destination into a committed community, where everyone collaborates to develop our shared destination into a nationally and internationally attractive location, offering high-quality products and experiences.

During the destination's first strategy period (2021-2023), the focus was on bringing together municipalities, businesses, and other partners under the theme "Much more than just tourism." We have achieved this, establishing a strong foundation that reinforces the understanding that tourism is both a thriving industry and a catalyst for the responsible development of our municipalities and local communities.

Raising the Bar

With this new strategy, we are setting even higher ambitions for our collaboration with businesses and municipalities.

Our goal is to further strengthen the tourism sector while increasing its positive impact on the sustainable development of our cities and local communities, ultimately contributing to overall well-being.

Tourism plays a vital role in our destination, creating tangible benefits for businesses, municipalities, citizens, local communities, and both business and leisure travellers—all year round.
