People Regions and Economy - Luxembourg Tourism Strategy

June 2022
National
Destination Strategy

This strategy forms the framework for the targeted further development of leisure tourism in Luxembourg.

The diverse and sometimes rapid developments in society and tourism increase the complexity and the requirements for modern and sustainable tourism management.

It is therefore important to strengthen the positive effects of tourism and to support the industry in facing the challenges of the future.

The Luxembourg tourism strategy, which was developed on a participatory basis, takes a new perspective on tourism.

The focus is no longer solely on the guests as a stakeholder group, but also on the population, including cross-border commuters, whose quality of life is to be further improved through tourism.

The long-term vision formulates a clear, motivating ideal for the future of Luxembourg tourism.
