We believe that everyone, including those living in poverty or experiencing a holiday threshold, can experience the power of holidays and tourism.

In the operation of Everyone Deserves Holidays, the focus is on personal thresholds that holidaymakers cannot overcome on their own. These barriers can be financial, psychological or practical in nature. They often ask for a tailor-made solution. A large and solidary network – the Everyone Deserves Holiday network – of social and tourist partners and local placeholders forms the core of the operation. By becoming a partner of the Everyone Deserves Holiday network, tourism actors give hands and feet to their social commitment. They do this by giving social rates, by working on accessible accommodation, by offering solution-oriented services. Social organizations within the network ensure that the offer finds its way to those who need it and that mental barriers to going on holiday are reduced. VISITFLANDERS takes on the role of network connector and facilitator.

The basis for the operation Everyone Deserves Holidays is anchored in the new decree of the same name. The roll-out of this decree will follow in 2023 and is a condition for the actions outlined below.
