The central objective of our tourism strategy is to significantly increase Tampere’s tourism revenue, with a target of reaching one billion euros by 2030. This ambitious goal shapes our strategic direction, guiding the adoption of new operating models while reinforcing shared values such as sustainability and responsibility. Tampere is committed to sustainable tourism that supports both the local environment and community in the long term.

Our strategy is built on strong collaboration between key stakeholders. The joint commitment of the city, businesses, and tourism professionals is essential in achieving our shared vision.
